Documentation for our Zoom Integration App

Overview

The Sistema Easy Zoom Integration allows schools to connect their Zoom account to Sistema Easy and automatically create Zoom meetings for scheduled classes.

When a class link is created within Sistema Easy, the platform generates a Zoom meeting and stores the meeting URL in the system. The meeting link is then made available to school administrators, teachers, students, and student guardians according to their access permissions.

This integration is intended for schools and educational institutions that use Sistema Easy to manage classes and schedules.

 

Prerequisites

Before connecting the Zoom Integration, ensure that:

  • You have an active Zoom account.
  • You have access to Sistema Easy with permission to manage class links.
  • You are logged into your Zoom account in your web browser (recommended).

 

Connect and Authorize the Zoom App

To connect your Zoom account to Sistema Easy using our app:

  1. Log in to Sistema Easy.
  2. Navigate to My School → Class Links.
  3. Click the button Integrate with Zoom.
  4. You will be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.
  5. Review the permissions requested by the application.
  6. Click Authorize to grant access.
  7. After authorization, you will be redirected back to Sistema Easy.
  8. The integration will be activated automatically and ready for use.

If you choose not to proceed, you may cancel the authorization request directly on Zoom's consent screen.

 

Permissions Requested

The application requests access only to the permissions required for creating Zoom meetings associated with classes scheduled in Sistema Easy.

meeting:write:meeting

Purpose: Allows Sistema Easy to create Zoom meetings on behalf of the authorized user when a class is scheduled within the platform.
No permissions are requested beyond those necessary for the integration to function.

 

How the Integration Works

After authorization:

  1. A student schedules a class in Sistema Easy.
  2. Sistema Easy creates a Zoom meeting using the connected Zoom account.
  3. The meeting URL is automatically stored in Sistema Easy.
  4. The meeting link becomes available to authorized school administrators, teachers, students, and guardians.

The integration is used exclusively to facilitate online class scheduling and access.

 

Disconnecting the Zoom Integration

To remove the Zoom Integration:

  1. Access My School → Class Links.
  2. Click Remove Zoom.
  3. Confirm the removal request.

Once disconnected:

  • All Zoom authorization tokens stored by Sistema Easy are removed.
  • Sistema Easy will no longer be able to create new Zoom meetings on your behalf.
  • Existing meetings previously created in Zoom are not automatically deleted and remain available within your Zoom account unless manually removed.

To reconnect the integration in the future, a new authorization process must be completed.

 

Troubleshooting

Authorization Failed
Ensure that you are logged into the correct Zoom account and try the authorization process again.

Insufficient Permissions
Verify that your Zoom account has the necessary permissions to authorize applications.

Unable to Create Meetings
Confirm that the Zoom integration is still connected and has not been removed or expired.

Reconnection Required
If access tokens become invalid or expire, disconnect and reconnect the Zoom integration through Sistema Easy.

 

Data Usage

Sistema Easy uses Zoom access solely for creating and managing class-related meetings requested by authorized users.
Authentication tokens are stored securely and are removed when the integration is disconnected by the user.
